Privacy Policy

We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us.

• Account information (email, password, profile details)
• Subscription data you input into the app
• Usage analytics and app performance data
• Device information and identifiers
• Communication preferences and settings

Loopwise's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect your Gmail account, Loopwise requests the following OAuth scopes to power its inbox-scanning features:

• gmail.readonly — Read email headers and message snippets to detect newsletters, marketing emails, and inbox clutter
• gmail.modify — Apply and remove LoopWise labels to organise cleaned emails (e.g. LoopWise/Cleaned)
• gmail.labels — Create and manage LoopWise-specific labels in your inbox

We access only the following data fields from your Gmail messages:

• From (sender address) — to identify subscription providers
• Subject line — to classify the email as a billing notification
• Date sent — to determine billing dates and cycles
• List-Unsubscribe header — to surface unsubscribe options
• Message ID — as a unique reference to avoid duplicate processing
• Message snippet — a short preview used for AI classification

We do not read full email bodies beyond what is necessary for inbox-cleaning, and we never access attachments, contacts, or any other Google account data.

Gmail data accessed through Google APIs is used solely to detect and clean unwanted emails within LoopWise. It is never used for advertising, never sold to third parties, and never shared with humans except when required by law or for the narrow purpose of improving the accuracy of the email-detection feature (e.g. reviewing a failed classification with your explicit consent).

You can disconnect your Gmail account at any time from the app settings. Upon disconnection, Loopwise revokes its OAuth token and deletes all stored connection credentials from our servers.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the LoopWise service
• Detect and clean newsletters, marketing emails, and inbox clutter
• Process unsubscribe requests on your behalf
• Generate inbox analytics and cleaning reports
• Respond to your support requests and communications
• Comply with legal obligations

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Gmail OAuth tokens and connection credentials are deleted immediately upon disconnecting your Gmail account. You may request deletion of all your data by contacting us at support@loopwise.app.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never logged or exposed in plaintext.
